MEC Update

In this update, we higlight the fallowing:
  • Updating ALPA profile
  • Mandatory RAIC for USA Jumpseat Travel
  • Flair Airlines
 
Updating ALPA Profile
As a reminder, we need everyone to log into their ALPA member record to ensure your profile information is up to date. 
 
It is especially important to add your mailing address to your profile, to allow you to receive items such as lanyards and service pins.
 
If you have questions, call ALPA’s Membership Administration Department at 1-888-FLY-ALPA (press 3 and 3 again) during regular business hours.
 
You can set up a password at mypassword.alpa.org.
 
 
Mandatory RAIC for US Jumpseat Travel

There are increased security protocols being implemented for Jumpseat eligbility in the USA. Access to Jumpseat privileges in the USA require that all Canadian pilots carry and present their RAIC for authentication.

If travelling using the reciprocal jumpseat program, ALWAYS carry your credentials including the following:

  • Valid Passport
  • Valid Pilot’s license, including medical
  • Valid RAIC
  • Valid Company ID
 
Flair Airlines Update
Flair has a planned outage on myIDTravel until December 9th. If you plan to use Flair during this time you are encouraged to make your booking in advance.
