In an effort to improve member access to ALPA resources, we’re pleased to announce that the SWG MEC is launching the Data Action ReporT (DART) program today. If you haven’t heard about DART yet, we’ve got you covered. Read over the following information for a quick DART overview, from overall program information to how to submit your question.
What is DART?
The Data Action ReporT (DART) program empowers pilots to ask any question and receive a response from our MEC’s subject matter experts (SMEs) in a 48-hour time period. It’s your one-stop shop to ask any question and get a response from a subject-matter expert—without even having to know who to contact.
How does DART work?
Go to http://dart.alpa.org or the ALPA app, select the category of question you have, and fill out the form. When you click submit, that triggers SWG subject matter experts into action and coordinates the response to you.
In addition to getting an answer back to you as quickly as possible, DART stores both your question and the answer you received to provide the MEC with a searchable database to track trends to address in future union business, be it negotiating a contract, or to provide focus subjects for monthly meetings with the Company.
How do I submit a question to DART?
If you haven’t already downloaded ALPA’s app, we recommend you do so. While also available online, the app will serve as your main platform to launch the DART program.
Once in the ALPA app, the DART icon is available on the first page. The DART program will launch from the app, and you can fill out the form with your question. Again, if you don’t have the app, you can go to http://dart.alpa.org.
